Fiegl Friulano DOC Collio Friuli 2021 750ML
The Friulano is an autochthonous variety from the area, grown for centuries but which only recently has come to the fore. The Friulano vineyards are at 170 meters of altitude and have an average age of thirty-five years.
Vinification: off-the-skins with fermentation in stainless steel tanks, where the aging on the yeasts takes place too, until the bottling.
Tasting Notes:
Bright straw-yellow color with light green highlights. The strong floral note mixes with hints of mandarins, peach, and almond. The strong suit of this wine is the balance it presents in the mouth. There is considerable correspondence between the olfactory and the palate.
Friulano: How and When
In Friuli Venezia Giulia, Friulano is, according to tradition, paired with San Daniele ham and seafood.
Serve at 10-14 °C .
